After the devastation of Cyclone Debbie in North Queensland the iconic Hayman Island bore the brunt of the Cat 5 Cyclone in late march.
We were called in and landed on Island along with a team to initially assess for safety , then for preservation of the significant Figs and Rain-trees. Our team was on island for 4 weeks and implemented initially a Make safe Program and then finished up with a Tree Management Plan involving our Arborists returning at scheduled intervals to continue the remedial works.

For this particular on going project for Lendlease we had to create the work methodologies to protect the sensitive Mangroves in this iconic shopping precinct and help develop the systems in conjunction with the Principal Contractor and Sunshine Coast Regional Council and the Landscape Designers . This site presents many challenges and varied situations that we adapt to quickly so that works and progress are not impeded.
